The Tosto sandwich is similar to a panini but in the words of Yoav the owner, "it's so much more than a Panini!" And he was right! This hot and melty sandwich exploded with flavor in every bite. Everyone at the bakery was amazing and just treated us with love! This is a must go to place for everything from fresh bread to the best chocolate chip cookies we've ever tasted. On Feb. 19th 2009, President Barack Obama visited Ottawa and made a quick stop at Le Moulin de Provence to buy a cookie. Ever since, the Moulin De Provence has been creating these same cookies (now appropriately called "Obama Cookies"), with the same recipe as always. These cookies (simple shortbread in the shape of a Maple Leaf, with "Canada" written on them), represent a new era in US-Canada relations. With the exclamation "I love this Country!", Obama warmed the hearts of every Canadian on this cold February afternoon, during this historic visit to Ottawa.
